Do Murphy Beds need special mattress or box springs?

No! Murphy Beds work with standard mattress sizes up to 11” thick. You can select your own twin, full, queen, or king mattress for superior comfort. When not in use, our Murphy Bed design won’t compress or damage your mattress, ensuring it’s comfortable for many nights to come.

Our unique design doesn’t require a box spring. This reduces the amount of space your hidden bed will take up when not in use without sacrificing comfort or stability. Our slab-style bed keeps the mattress firmly in place through all the “ups and downs” your hidden bed will make.

What sizes do Murphy Beds come in?

Our Murphy Bed designs can be customized to fit a standard twin, full, queen, or king-size mattress, up to 11" deep. From a small guest room to a studio apartment, you don’t have to forfeit your preferred mattress size when choosing a Murphy Bed.

Do Murphy Beds attach to the floor or to the wall?

Our Murphy Beds are anchored to the wall in order to provide the proper support for opening and closing the bed.

Do I have to assemble the Murphy Bed myself?

Select Agora Murphy Beds come fully assembled, only requiring you to anchor them to the wall and secure the final trim. The rest of our beds require customer assembly. We provide detailed instructions with each bed, as well as through the Built App and online instruction videos.

We currently offer shipping services to the continental US and Canada.
